Initial ideas for my music magazine.

What will my magazine be called?
I will be calling my magazine: Next!? I decided this would be a good name for my magazine because it will be about new, up and coming bands and music. So they could either be replaced, or the next big thing.

Who is my audience?
I am targetting both male and female individuals who are within 16-25 years of age. This is beause the genre of music i will be including, best suits them. I think this is true because once you get older the more set on a specific genre of music you are. Also at this age you can be more influenced and want to try out new experiences and therefore hear new music and genres.
In a more psychographic sense i will be targetting indie/rockers, aspiring musicians/artists, good timers and YAKS (young, adventurous, keen and single).
   
Finances?
I will be charging £1 per weekly edition. I think this is a fair price because of the cost of printing and writing ect. Also seeing as it would be a new magazine i cannot afford to have a high price as it will put people off buying it.

What will be the context of my magazine?
My magazine will be informal and the content will basically be about all the new experiences and oppurtunies that are happening for young adults in the uk. For example it will include:
-New, up and coming bands and music.
-Musicians sucess stories.
-Help on how to become sucessfull in the music industry.
-Oppurtunities such as auditions.
-Gigs and festivals.
-Up and coming fashion/ restaurants/places.

This magazines unique selling point is that it gives help to aspiring musicians whilst also appealing to people who are regular, keen music fanatics.
