Overall your work is good here but does not always EXPLAIN how a convention works. For exaple you say 'pull quotes are used because they are effective' but you don't explain HOW they are effective. If you add this in, thinking about how each convention works to make the magazine attractive to your target audience and easy to read, then your answer will be stronger.
