This is a image of a typical member of my target audience.

they will like to be individual and unique.
Preferable music genres: Punk rock, alternative rock, Indie, house, Trap
and folk will be the majority of genres my audience will like
however they will be interested in discovering new styles
that people haven't heard before. Basically anything that
is not mainstream.
I am targeting my audience at the both sexes of youth (15-25 years old) who are generally studying, or just finished studying. My target audience could be from any financial background considering people of this age usually have a job and my magazine is cheap so money probably wont be an issue.
The target audience for my magazine will be people who have a keen interest in music and the world. They enjoy gaining new experiences and trying new things. They will generally be individualists, carers and succeeders. Therefore they will be looking for new music all the time and seeing which artists they can find to introduce to other people. Also they will care for a lot of things main streamers and aspirers wont. For example nature, ways to help people succeed; and the way people achieved their dreams. They will be a lot more down to earth. When it comes down to advertising there is a vast variety of products that my target audience would buy. However the main products will be things to do with music such as, albums, Festival tickets, gig tickets and band merchandise. Closely linked with music is fashion. A lot of people who are into music aspire to look like their favourite artists or have a similar trend therefore it would be a good idea for clothing stores to advertise in my magazine.
A somewhat brief answer here. Can you develop this in more depth? Here is an example of a more developed one: http://enorfasmarsdenhille.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/E%3A%20Evaluation%3A%20target%20audience
ReplyDeleteBasically you are capable of work at a much higher level than this suggests. It's sort of middling C grade at present - not wrong, just unispired and underdeveloped. I expect you to be going for B or A grade.
